Major Energy Industry Employers To Exhibit At Career Expo At ELECTRIC POWER 2007

Sargent & Lundy, Bechtel Power, Dynegy And Washington Group International Among Companies Looking For Talent

Chicago, IL - Chicago-area professionals will have the opportunity to meet face-to-face with recruiters and hiring managers from several of the largest energy companies at the Careers in Power Expo, a two-day talent acquisition event on May 2 & 3, 2007 at the Donald E Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, IL. The event is part of the 9th Annual ELECTRIC POWER Conference & Exhibition, the leading conference for the power generation industry, and is being sponsored by Sargent & Lundy and POWER magazine.

Employers will be promoting career opportunities in Architecture, Automation, Contract Administration, Construction, Design, Environment, Engineering (including Chemical, Civil, Construction, Electrical, Mechanical, Nuclear, Structural and Transmission), Estimating, Facilities, Human Resources, IT, Maintenance, Operations, Safety, Sales, Security and many other fields. Internships in Engineering will also be offered.

In addition to the employer exhibits where attendees can talk one-on-one with recruiters and hiring managers, the Careers in Power Expo will feature career seminars. The career expo will be open from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. on May 2 and 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. on May 3. A program for students interested in careers in power will be held on May 2. Admission to the career expo is free. Advance registration is not required. A separate registration fee is required to attend the ELECTRIC POWER Exhibition & Conference.
